American-Made, One Pit at a Time
Hand-built American offset smokers and trailer rigs from 60 to 2,000+ gallons.
The Lineup
Every Apex carries a name, not a part number. From the 60-gallon Bullet to the 1000-gallon Supreme, each one is cut, welded, and finished by hand.
Specs below are representative — because every pit is built to order, final dimensions and options are confirmed with you at consultation.

Bullet — 60 Gallon
Small footprint, single door, full Apex steel — built for the cook just getting serious about the craft.

Titan — 120 Gallon
A bigger chamber and a double door for the cook feeding more than just family.

Magnus — 250 Gallon
Compact enough for the patio, built heavy enough to run hot every weekend for the next twenty years.

Prime — 500 Gallon
More cook space, more steel, built for the pitmaster who's always got somebody coming over.

Alpha — 750 Gallon
Three doors and serious capacity — for the cook who's outgrown the backyard and started taking bookings.

Supreme — 1000 Gallon
When the whole town shows up, this is what's cooking — our flagship offset, built for events and legacy cooks.

Beyond 2000 Gallon
Our humongous, built-to-spec flagship. Past 2000 gallons, every Ultra is engineered one at a time — pricing and configuration by consultation only.

Every model in the lineup — Bullet through Supreme — can be built as a Limited Edition: upgraded hardware, a pitmaster-recommended spec sheet, and finish work that goes beyond the standard build. Add the "L" to any model name.

Signature Details

Whitewall Tires
Every trailer build leaves with whitewalls — a signature touch that says this rig was built, not bought off a shelf.

Heavy Steel & Hand Welds
Quarter-inch plate steel, cut and welded by hand — every seam means it, and every door closes the way it should for decades.

Offset Firebox
True offset design for clean smoke and even heat, the old way — no shortcuts, no gas assist.

Temperature Gauges
Real dials and steel hardware — built to take the heat, the weather, and the years.

Santa Maria Grill System
Add a hand-cranked grate for live-fire, open-flame cooking — raise it, lower it, control it.

Firebox Grill Door
A full grill door on the firebox lets you cook direct over hardwood coals — sear a steak, char some vegetables, or just tend the fire the way it was meant to be tended.
From the Shop Floor
Cut, ground, welded, and finished by hand — the same way it's always been done. No shortcuts, no assembly line.

We build the kind of thing that gets handed down.
